Microsoft just announced a whole bunch of new controller designs and options for gamers – but that’s not all they did today. For those looking to buy a new Xbox One S console to play the upcoming Battlefield 1 – Microsoft has announced three new bundles, featuring custom themed consoles.
Note that all three bundles come bundled with a full month’s subscription to EA Access – so you also get free access to all of the games in The Vault for a whole month. Subscription for EA Access usually costs 5$/month.
The standard one
The first is the ‘Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Bundle’ – nothing really special about it. For the price of 299$, you get the standard white Xbox One S with 500 GB of storage and a digital copy of Battlefield 1. You are however getting the game for essentially free at this price. If you are looking to buy a new Xbox One S – this is the bundle to get.
It will be available in Europe from October 13th and in U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand from October 21st.
The better one
The second bundle is called the ‘Storm Grey Special Edition’ bundle, and it features a storm-grey coloured Xbox One S with its very own storm-grey coloured controller.
You get the same 500 GB of storage here as well, along with a digital copy of Battlefield 1. All for the same price of 299$.
This is pretty much the same as the standard bundle – except it is now sporting the new storm grey look. It will be available from the 1st of November – but it will be exclusively sold at Microsoft Stores and WalMart.
The special one
For those willing to spend the money, the third bundle is called the ‘Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Special Edition Bundle’ and comes with a whopping 1 terabyte of storage. The console also features a military-green theme and comes with a matching stand. The controller also comes in military green.
If you buy this bundle at GameStop you will get a physical copy of Battlefield 1 – anywhere else, the bundle comes with a digital copy of Battlefield 1. Both versions are Early Enlister Deluxe Editions.
The bundle also packs a whole bunch of other goodies as well – you get the Battlefield 1 Hellfighter Pack, Red Baron Pack, Lawrence of Arabia Pack and five Battlepacks. You also get a “new visual appearance of the Behemoths” – though the details of this are not clear just yet.
At the price of 349$, this bundle presents an incredible value since you are getting a lot more storage – and the deluxe edition of Battlefield 1.
This bundle launches around the same time as the standard one – on October 13th for Europe and October 18th for U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
These bundles could prove to be very useful for gamers who are just jumping into the Xbox ecosystem and want to start their journey with Battlefield 1.
