Xbox Australia is going to host an Xbox FanFest event in Sydney from September 27th to 29th. The event is going to take attendants on a journey through various exclusive Xbox experiences such as a “secret event” for Gears of War 4 and the launch event for Forza Horizons 3.
Attendants are also going to have early access to the Xbox booth at EB Games Expo in Sydney – before it is opened to the public. Those with the tickets would also be able to meet and interact with some of the industry’s top developers, leaders, and influencers. As well as get some free Xbox swag, shirts and more. Xbox Australia has been quite a tease, so there are most certainly quite a few surprise events planned.
The tickets to get in are going to be free however there’s only 250 of them, and they are going to be available on a first-come-first-serve basis, restricted to one per person. You are also going to need to be above the age of 18 and have a government-issued proof of ID to prove it.
The tickets will be available at the flagship Microsoft Store at the Pitt Street Mall on Tuesday starting from 10:30 AM. The tickets are obviously in heavy demand, so you probably want to get in line early.
Although you will get your tickets at the flagship Microsoft Store – the actual event is going to be hosted all across Sydney, and Microsoft will be providing transportation to and from each venue from the Sydney Central Business District.
This is obviously not the first time Microsoft is hosting an Xbox FanFest like this – we had two just this year at E3 and Gamescom, but having more of these events is certainly a nice way to promote the brand while rewarding loyal fans at the same time.
