Microsoft has started sending invites for an Office event planned only a week after the October 26th event in New York. The Office event will be on November 2nd.
Things aren’t very clear about what will be shown at the event – a similar event hosted in San Francisco in 2014 gave us Office for iPad, so something as significant could happen.
According to VentureBeat, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Office Corporate Vice President Kirk Koenigsbauer are going to be speaking at the event, along with a few “special guests” who haven’t been revealed just yet.
There’s also going to be a simultaneous watch party in San Francisco, for those who can’t hit the east coast city.
According to the email inviting the press to the event, the speakers will “discuss the changing nature of collaboration and how we can empower every team to achieve more.”
The October 26th and November 2nd events are exactly one week apart – while the first is supposed to show us Microsoft’s vision for its hardware, the latter will show us Microsoft’s vision for its enterprise software.
It is hard to say for sure what we will see at the event, but the timing does make us excited for it.
The Office event will be on November 2nd, at 11 A.M. Eastern Time. Here’s a handy little time converter so you can perhaps watch the live stream from your time zone.
Of course, We will be covering news from both of these events.
