HP has announced a new Windows 10 desktop PC known as Pavilion Wave today at IFA 2016. This is not an ordinary looking desktop PC but it actually sets a new benchmark in Desktop PC design. It has a compact yet good looking and creative design. But don’t let the small size fool you, it is powerful enough to support two 4K displays at the same time.
The HP Pavilion Wave has a triangular form factor with a speaker on top which has been integrated with the parabolic reflector. This ensures a high-quality 360-degree audio experience for the users. It looks slightly similar to the mars by Crazybaby except for the fact that there is no floating component here.
The product is covered by a special audio fabric on sides which not only looks appealing but also allows broad spectrum transmission without any effect on the texture or design.
It has advanced audio capabilities to give you a unique experience while listening to songs or while watching movies. The audio system has been tuned by B&O to give you the best audio output. Additionally, it comes with dual microphones to enable seamless voice integration with Cortana for a better hands-free experience.
The Pavilion Wave has a hard drive on one of the sides inside the triangular design. The motherboard along with the processor and graphics card is present on the other side and the third side houses the thermal system to keep the device cool.
You get 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB Type-C port, 1 display port, 1 Ethernet port, 1 Audio jack and 1 HDMI port. Users can configure the system according to their preferences with Intel Core i7 processors (up to 6th Gen), up to 16 GB of memory and up to 2 TB storage space. Users will also get an option to add 128 GB SSD and AMD Radeon R9 M470 graphics card for enhanced video editing and gaming capabilities.
HP Pavilion Wave will be available from 23rd September 2016 on HP.com and selected stores for a starting price of $549.99.
