Step 1: Copying the content of English PDF

In this step, we would copy the content which is present in the English PDF File that you have. Now, this is going to be pretty simple and easy if your PDF file contains only text. Anyways, here are the steps which you need to follow in order to copy the content of your English PDF File:

  • First of all, you need to open the English PDF which you want to convert on your PC.
  • Now, you need to select all the contents in that PDF File. You can do this pretty easily. Just press the Ctrl + A if you are on Windows and Cmd + A if you are on a Mac PC.
  • Once you have selected the content of the whole PDF, you need to copy it. Simply right-click anywhere on your screen and select the Copy option from the list. Alternatively, you can also press Ctrl + C if you are on Windows and Cmd + C if you are on a Mac PC.
  • Now, open any text or Word Editor like MS Word or OpenOffice.
  • Here, paste the contents you copied earlier by pressing Ctrl + V if you are on Windows and Cmd + V if you are on a Mac PC.
  • Save the file and follow Step 2.

Step 2: Translating the Content

In this step, we would translate the English content we copied into the Hindi. We would be using Google translate, you can also use any other translator as per your wish. Here are the steps which you need to follow:

  • Open any browser on your PC like the Google Chrome web browser.
  • Here, in the address bar type in https://translate.google.com and hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
  • Now, copy the contents from the Word or Text file you created in Step 1. Select all the text and then simply press Ctrl + C if you are on Windows and Cmd + C if you are on a Mac PC.
  • Go to the Google Translate tab on your PC and select the output language as Hindi.
  • Once done, simply paste in the contents in the first column which says Detect language. You can do so by simply pressing Ctrl + V if you are on Windows and Cmd + V if you are on a Mac PC.
  • Once done, copy the content you see in the output window. Again press Ctrl + A if you are on Windows and Cmd + A if you are on a Mac PC. To copy, press Ctrl + C if you are on Windows and Cmd + C if you are on a Mac PC.
  • Paste the copied content in a new word file and save the same. Go to Step 3.

Step 3: Create a new Hindi PDF File

In this step, we would be creating a new file for Hindi contents. This will contain the translation which we just copied from the Google Translate and saved in Word in Step 2. Here are the steps which you need to follow:

If you are using Microsoft Word:

  • Open the file containing Hindi contents which you copied in Step 2.
  • Now, click on the File menu.
  • Here, you need to click on the Export or Save As option from the list.
  • On the next screen, select Portable Document Format (PDF).
  • That’s it! Now, select the destination folder and name your file, then click on the Save button.

If you are using OpenOffice:

  • Open the file containing Hindi contents which you copied in Step 2.
  • Now, click on the File menu.
  • Here, you need to click on the Export as Portable Document Format (PDF) option.
  • That’s it! Now, select the destination folder and name your file, then click on the Save button.
