  • Wait till the scanning process has been completed. 
  • The Windows will look for what’s wrong and will fix it on its own.

Method 2: Rebuilding the Boot Configuration Data

In this method, we would be rebuilding the BCD or Boot Configuration Data on our Windows 10 PC. This is most likely to work since the 0xc000000f Error in most cases is due to BCD. Anyways, here are the steps which you need to follow:

  • First of all, you should have a Windows 10 installation media like a USB Drive or a CD. Once you have it, you need to insert it into the computer,

  • Once in the boot menu, you should see a message, “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD”. Simply press any key to continue.
  • Now, select the keyboard type and date-time. 
  • Finally, click on the Repair My Computer option at the bottom left. 
  • Now, select the Command Prompt option.
  • Here, you need to type in the below commands (one per line) and hit the Enter key on your Keyboard:

Bootrec /scanos

Bootrec /fixmbr

Bootrec /fixboot

Bootrec /rebuildbcd

  • When prompted, you need to press Y and hit the Enter key on your keyboard to boot your Windows 10 PC.

This should fix the 0xc000000f Boot Error in Windows 10. If not, you can try running sfc/scannow which is our next method. 

Method 4: By running sfc/scannow

In this method, we will be running sfc/scannow to see if that fixes 0xc000000f Error in Windows 10. Here are the steps which you need to follow in order to do so:

Method 5: Check cables

If none of the above methods works out for you, then the chances are that there is something wrong with the connections. We would recommend you check all the connected wires like any data cable and PSU Cable as well. If that did not fix it either, then it is more likely a hardware fault and you then need to get in touch with a PC Repairing shop to get it fixed.
