Forza Horizons 3 has not been out for a month yet – but the first monthly DLC pack is out, and it’s called “The Smoking Tire Care Pack” – it comes with seven cars a lot of fun.
The Smoking Tire Car Pack is the first of the upcoming monthly DLCs for those who bought the Car Pass – a separate $30 purchase. That is pretty expensive, but you are getting seven cars every month for the next six months – so it could be worthwhile if you are into that; 42 is the meaning of life and everything after all.
You can also buy The Smoking Tire Car Pack separately for $7 – that’s $1 per car. All of the forty-two upcoming cars will be new to the Forza series – none of these cars have ever been in a Forza game ever before.
These are the seven cars that come in this month’s pack:
- 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
- 2000 Lotus 340R
- 2016 Pagani Huayra BC
- 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan
- 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade
- 2016 GTA Spano
- 2016 BMW M2 Coupé
Microsoft has written up an excellent description for each car over here if you want to have a look at that.[huge_it_gallery id=”3″]
Microsoft is also selling a $35 season pass for the Horizons 3, which will give players access to two upcoming major expansions – one of which will release before the end of this year.
It is obvious that Microsoft has huge plans for Forza, and the continued support for the game is appreciated – though it’d be good if it were just a bit cheaper.
Microsoft also sells a $100 Ultimate Edition for Forza Horizons 3 that comes with all of this and more – such as the Motorsports All-Stars Car Pack and a VIP membership. The Car Pack sells for $10, and the VIP membership costs $20 separately – again, these DLC’s are too expensive when you consider you bought the base game for 60$.
