  • First of all, you need to start a command prompt window on your PC as an Administrator. You can search for cmd into the start menu. 
  • Now, you need to type in the below command and hit the Enter key on your Keyboard:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

  • Now, you need to enter the below command and again press the Enter key:

sfc /scannow 

  • Wait for the scanning process to get completed. 
  • Once done, disable fast startup:

Disable Fast Startup

Here are the steps which you need to follow in order to disable fast startup on your Windows PC:

  • First of all, you need to go to the Control Panel.
  • Now, you need to select the Power Options.
  • Click on the Choose what the power button does from the left menu.
  • Now, you need to click on Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
  • Here, under Shutdown settings, find Turn on fast startup (recommended) option.
