1. Launch Settings app. For that, click on the Start button and then click on the Settings (gear) icon to launch the Settings app.
Alternatively, you can press WIN + I keyboard keys to quickly launch the Settings app.
2. Under Settings app, click on the Accounts to launch the account settings.
3. Under Accounts, on the left pane switch to Sign-in option tab. After that on the right panel, look for the option labeled as Require sign-in. Under this, you will see the drop-down menu with default settings “When PC wakes up from sleep.”
Click on this drop-down and change the settings from “When PC wakes up from sleep” to “Never.”
But keep in mind that when you switch the settings to NEVER, the system will not ask you to enter the Pin or Password. Also, the same settings will also affect Hibernation mode of the Windows 10.

1. Launch Command Prompt.
For that, make right click on the Start button and from WINX context menu click on Command Prompt (Admin). When UAC screen appears, click Yes to continue.
Alternatively, you can type cmd in the start menu search bar and when Command Prompt appears in the results, make a right click and Run as administrator.
2. In the command prompt, you need to type the following command to disable sleep password and hit enter.

powercfg /SETDCVALUEINDEX SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_NONE CONSOLELOCK 0
powercfg /SETACVALUEINDEX SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_NONE CONSOLELOCK 0
You can also enable password on the wake, here is what you need to do:

powercfg /SETDCVALUEINDEX SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_NONE CONSOLELOCK 1
powercfg /SETACVALUEINDEX SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_NONE CONSOLELOCK 1
