Microsoft planning to add ‘People Bar’ & Night Mode to Windows 10 Redstone 2

Just a few days ago we reported that Microsoft is going to add a feature that will imitate F.lux right inside the Windows 10 Redstone 2 which is Microsoft’s next major update to Windows 10. We have more information on more features that you might see in the upcoming update.

Microsoft has been changing a lot of things under the hood for Redstone 2, but new visible features are only being released one by one.

Microsoft has been changing a lot of things under the hood for Redstone 2 but new visible features are only being released one by one. The People Bar and Night Mode are two new features that have been discovered. The feature that will eliminate Blue Light on Windows 10 will be named Night Mode and it will be added to your Quick Actions toggle.

This was found out by the same Twitter user @tfwboredom who found that Microsoft had hidden the quick action toggle for a night mode feature.

Microsoft is also planning to add a People Bar on the taskbar of your Windows 10 to show the picture icons of people you recently contacted. This feature will work with Skype, GroupMe and Microsoft Office. As per Windows Central, there are possibilities that Microsoft will allow people to have contributors while working on Microsoft Office based applications using this feature.

In the coming days, we will report more on the Redstone 2 update as we find out more about it but currently these two features are being tested by Microsoft and let’s see if they end up being in the final version or not.
