Microsoft Lumia 950 & 950 XL launching in India on 30 November

Microsoft is going to launch their latest flagship smartphones Lumia 950 & Lumia 950 XL in India on 30th November. Considering the fact that devices recently went on pre-order in the US, the company is doing an impressive job by bringing these devices to India in a timely manner.

The company will start sending the official invites for the launch event from tomorrow, but it is confirmed that the event is scheduled for 30th November in New Delhi, India. Both the smartphones will be powered by Windows 10 Mobile and they offer great productivity features in a compact form factor.

The Lumia 950 features a 5.2-inch OLED QHD display and it is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor along with 3 GB RAM, 3,000 mAh battery and 32 GB internal storage. Users will be able to click great quality images using the 20-megapixel rear PureView camera with triple LED flash. The Lumia 950 XL has nearly the same specifications but it sports a bigger 5.7-inch QHD display and it is powered by Snapdragon 810 processor, making it the most powerful Windows smartphone.

Both the smartphones provide few interesting features like Iris Scanner, Liquid Cooling and USB Type-C connector with fast charging capabilities. One of the most talked about features of these new devices is the Continuum feature that will allow users to use their Lumia smartphones as a full-fledged PC. It is expected that the company will also launch the display dock in India on 30th November.

Though the launch is happening this month, the actual availability might be after 2-3 weeks. The Global prices for Lumia 950 & 950 XL are $549 and $649 respectively. Microsoft is also offering display dock worth $99 free with these smartphones.

There is no information about the Indian pricing yet but we will be present at the launch event and we will share all the latest updates on our twitter handle. So, don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @Windows_able.
